As if pinning the boutenneire isn't tricky enough, Lucy's dad added

an extra element of fun by shooting off fireworks...

Just to be helpful!  Ha ha!  I think he was hoping Lucy would

stab Eric with the sharp pin just to keep him in line!

I think they're over it.

Dinner was in Bellingham at Gepeddos, then Genevieve Elton took pictures by the Bellweather Hotel.  They lucked out and had a beautiful and fairly warm evening.

Then it was on to the dance at Whatcom Community College.

Voted Prom King!  He wears the crown well, don't you think?

Welcome Spring!

Well, now Spring is officially welcome in Wisconsin.  Hopefully here too!

Easter in Wisconsin...

Easter!

I have been so excited for Spring this year, and for Easter.  All the soft pretty colors just say good bye rainy dreary days, hello sunshine!  Pinterest inspired me to try making a few decorations.

We enjoyed having family here for Easter Dinner.  I didn't take great pictures, but you get the idea!

Thanks for the cute note Diana!  We love you too!

Easter morning, not much competion for the Easter Candy!  But hunt goes on anyway!

By the way, Devin got his Easter package and raved about the chocolate.  Hoorya, it didn't melt before he got to it! 

Tolo!

Eric arrived to math class the other day to find this on his desk.

Since it was a t shirt tolo, he went to Lucy's house and they

put some fancy glow in the dark puffy paint artwork on

these super bright t shirts.  They definitely wanted to be

noticed at the dance!

I was sure surprised when I found out that Eric had painted the

Spongebob Squarepants and the nice bubble lettering

on his shirt.  I had no idea he was so artistic!

Here's the gang that went to dinner at Coconut Kenny's and

then to the dance together, with their matching shirts. 

Gotta say, those ninja turtles are awesome.
