I Got to Go on a Cruise with Mom!

Our waiters were from the Philippines, so I got to tell them

about Devin spending 2 years there on a mission. 

They were great, and I've never had such fabulous

service.  They put your napkin on your lap, and reset the

silverware on the table for each of the four courses of the

meal.  Great food too.  This was baked alaska night.

What a great week we had together!

MEXICO!

My very first time in this country to the south.  Our first stop on the cruise was Puerto Vallarta.

We took a bus tour through town and I snapped lots of pictures.  They say it all.

Interesting shops and restaurants.

Such detail.

Lots of colorful shops.  We didn't get to stop at any of these.

Puerto Vallarta didn't get electricity until the 1970's.  I guess that's why there are wires strung all over the place.  I love the stairs in this picture. 

More Beautiful Cabo

So the comment was made by the cute gal in red that she was

glad the beer bottle was by me not by her!  That actually belonged

to the nice guy taking our picture!

Just keeping cool in the hot Mexican afternoon.  We heard Marilyn's

funny alarm clock story and laughed... a lot!

This restaurant had terraces down the hill with all kinds of

couches and lounge chairs to relax on and enjoy the view.

Love the rocks and waves.

I think his picture was turning out great.  How could it not?

Mom and I had a great week relaxing and taking in the sights.

So This is Cabo San Lucas! I Love it!

Mom and I having a blast taking in the sights of beautiful Mexico while

basking in the glorious sunshine and warmth of the day!

My favorite part of our excursions was a boat ride to see these beautiful rock formations and the lovely beaches next to the blue green water of the Sea of Cortez, or the Gulf of California, as we call it.

 

This is where the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortex collide!

It's gorgeous!

El Arco de Cabo San Lucas, is a distinctive rock formation at the southern tip of Cabo San Lucas which is itself the extreme southern end of Mexico's Baja California Peninsula. The arch is locally known as El Arco. This spot is a popular gathering area for sea lions.

Believe me, we heard them barking away as they crowded on their favorite rock.
