Little Lady in Purple

I couldn't resist posting my new favorite picture of Eleanor looking like a little lady in her pretty purple ruffles.  The clothes for babies these days are so much fun!

Being adorable is a lot of work.  Time for another nap!

Baby Eleanor Blessed

Another trip to Wisconsin, this time with Keith, to enjoy the blessing of sweet, little Eleanor.
She took an immediate liking to her Grandpa.  He thinks she's pretty special too!

She is so fun to hold and cuddle.

And to shop for.  I couldn't resist this hot pink
ruffley top

and matching ruffle bum pants!

On the day of her blessing, Eleanor wore this little blue dress
which I wore as a baby.  It was made by my mom's neigbor
and is still so precious!

This is how it looked on me way back when.

For the blessing Eleanor wore the blessing gown that both Katie and Diane wore when they were blessed.  It was made by my mother.

She was just perfect during the blessing her daddy gave her,
not even a peep!  Since it was stake conference, the blessing
was given in the bishop's office after church. Both grandpas
and many friends were in the circle as well.

Three generations!

Sweet family.
This cute little heart locket was given to Eleanor
by her Grandma Wood.  The tiny gold ring on
her finger was loaned to her for the day.  It was
worn by many other family members on their
blessing day, including Josh's mother.

Welcome to our family, sweet baby, we love you!
